Pu'an Red: Shining at Guizhou Province's First Black Tea Convention, Using Tea as a Bridge to Showcase New Potential for the Industry
On August 27, Guizhou Province’s first Black Tea Conference was held in Pu'an County, Qianxinan Prefecture—the birthplace of "Pu'an Red." The event aimed to focus on the high-quality development of Guizhou’s black tea industry, showcase the achievements in building Guizhou’s renowned tea brands, and promote the deep integration of tea culture with tourism. Tea experts, industry representatives, distributors, and media guests from across China gathered for the occasion. During the conference, Pu'an Red Group was proudly awarded the prestigious title of "Top 10 Black Tea Brands in Guizhou," thanks to its strong market recognition.
As a key highlight of the conference, the "Pu'an Red Tea Culture Exhibition Center" has become a "window" for visitors to truly understand Pu'an black tea. Every exhibit and display within the pavilion meticulously outlines the evolution of Pu'an red tea—from early photographs capturing tea farmers harvesting and processing leaves, to the traditional tools still used today, and even the prestigious awards that mark "Pu'an Red's" remarkable journey. Each detail quietly tells the story of how Pu'an red tea transformed into a renowned brand, while also allowing the delegation members to directly experience Pu'an's deep respect for and commitment to preserving its rich tea heritage.
Stepping into the tea-tasting area, a rich, mellow aroma immediately enveloped everyone. Guests took gentle sips, savoring the tea’s sweet, smooth flavor that lingered delightfully on the palate. One guest exclaimed, "This is exactly the classic taste of Puan Black Tea—every sip bursts with a natural, refreshing fragrance!" Meanwhile, at the adjacent modern Puan Red Tea Beverage Experience Zone, the atmosphere buzzed with a vibrant, trendy energy. A variety of innovative Puan Red Tea drinks were beautifully displayed, drawing guests to gather around the booth, eager to sample each unique creation. "Who would have thought traditional black tea could be enjoyed in such a creative way!"
